Duane Marrow said the people of the Valley will lead it to brighter days

Duane Marrow, a senior correctional officer with the Federal Bureau of Prisons, is a lifelong Mahoning Valley resident.

"Serving with The Wean Foundation is a great and honorable opportunity to make a difference in a valley and city that I'm very passionate about," Marrow said.

Marrow said the Mahoning Valley's greatest strengths are it's people with "their unique gifts and abilities" and he believes the time will come when those people help lead the area's rebound.

" We face a number of challenges and economic revitalization is certainly a key component that will have a positive effect in many other areas as well," he said.
