Raymond John Wean Foundation to Restore Historic Storefront on Courthouse Square in Downtown, Warren, Ohio
The Mission of The Raymond John Wean Foundation
Tomorrow is coming.
There is no stopping it. But at The Raymond John Wean Foundation, we believe that we can help shape it.
The tomorrow that we see for the Mahoning Valley is filled with hope, promise and optimism:
- Children will have quality learning opportunities, excellent health care and chances to play and experience the best of what life can offer.
- Our urban neighborhoods will be safe and clean and great places to live and work.
- Our residents will feel pride about where they call home and they will long for tomorrow, not yesterday.
We understand that these are fairly lofty ambitions.
But settling for less is just that -- settling.
We won't settle.
As a foundation with deep roots in the Mahoning Valley, The Raymond John Wean Foundation directs resources to help support organizations that are committed to improving the lives of our residents.
We support organizations we believe are in the best positions to do the most good for the most people.
In addition to serving as a financial resource, The Raymond John Wean Foundation has become an active coalition builder, always looking for ways to link organizations and goals to maximize good work. The Foundation is deeply committed to helping people and organizations grow through careful thinking and planning and building connections with other organizations and people able to offer assistance.
We believe in two guiding ideas:
- Building the capacity of organizations and individuals.
- Hard work.
We have a lot to accomplish.
Tomorrow is on its way.
