Sybil West says Mahoning Valley residents are resilient Sybil West, who retired from General Electric after 38 years of service, said she serves on The Raymond John Wean Foundation’s “Neighborhood Success” Grants Committee because she believes that the community’s neighborhoods can be improved. West, who serves on the Youngstown Grant Making Committee, said she believes one of the community’s greatest assets are its people and their resiliency. “I believe that the people and their ability to come together and work for the betterment of our community and their resiliency in the face of adversity is our greatest asset,” West said. She is eager to help spread the word about the existence of The Raymond John Wean Foundation and its commitment to helping improve neighborhoods. |
